Inspired by our “On-Site Job Training” and “Entrepreneurship” programs, our at-risk students created Java Joy in June 2023. Java Joy is utilized as a live simulated training environment where our students learn to bake cookies, learn different recipes for various hot and cold coffees, and sharpen their customer service skills. They also serve Fresh Hot Sandwiches (upon availability), chips and delicious cupcakes provided by San Antonio’s local Byrd Bakery. If you would like to contribute to our students and our mission to support their independence, COME BY AND ENJOY SOME COFFEE!
